About Melitee

I am Ludivine, a 28 year old young woman from Alsace. My job is Community Manager, but following a burn-out, I left my job in a company and made the decision to set up on my own.

Passionate about fashion and sewing since I was 16, I wanted to start an activity that fascinates me and resembles me. This is how my Mélitée e-shop was born, perfectly combining fashion and content creation.

But why Melitée?

Melitae is simply a species of butterflies, belonging to the Nymphalidae family.

Since childhood, I have had a real passion for butterflies. Being then too young to give my date of birth, I told anyone who would listen that I was born in the month of butterflies.

The butterfly is for me like a totem animal. 
It embodies freedom , escape , but also fragility .
